Understanding Phenotype: Purple Flowers vs White Flowers

Explaining Phenotype and Genotype Relationship

Answer: For each of the genotypes (AA, Aa, or aa) below determine what the phenotype would be. Purple flowers are dominant to white flowers.

The dominancy of any of these genotypes (AA, Aa, or aa) results in the reflection of purple flowers over the white ones. The organisms with different genotypes will exhibit different phenotypes based on the dominant and recessive alleles present in their genetic makeup.
